Louis Minnaar: Hail mary! at No End Contemporary Art Space

I'm a big fan of Louis Minnaar's illustrative work, so when I started seeing sneak peeks of this show on No End's Facebook page, I was really intrigued. This show, a prelude to a larger body of new work, is a cool departure from Minnaar's usual stuff.

I'm always interested to see largely digital artists working in more tactile applications, and this show was no exception. I really enjoyed Minnaar's textural explorations using paper, board and silicone - they made me want to go home and make stuff myself, which is exactly how I want to feel after any exhibition. The work is up until the 10th of September, so be sure to check it out - or at least peek through the catalogue here.
